Have the monthly Readers Choice Awards been stopped? The last one I see on the homepage is from February.

They go through periods where ( sometimes for very long stretches ) they aren't updated. They'll eventually get caught up, and if the last couple of years are any indication, the last few will get announced just before the annual awards. The nominees for the individual categories in the annual awards are determined by the monthly winners, so those have to be complete before the annual awards can go live.

There's an alert on your activity feed whenever you win a contest now — or at least there was the last time one of mine got a W.

I've stopped looking at these aspects of the site. The monthly awards are embarrassingly sporadic, and some years the annual awards just haven't been wrapped up at all.
