I posted my first story the other day and allowed for voting and feedback to be posted. I didn't expect everyone to like my story (was hoping some would) but I have to say some of the feedback is awful. They don't critique the story but me as a man. Some of it makes me laugh but I was just wondering if the hatred is normal.
When I originally wrote the story I had a disclaimer saying the story was a work of fiction. I wrote it in a way where it could be believeable that it actually happened. When I sent it to an editor they suggested removing the disclaimer as they felt it would make the story better to let people wonder if it were true or not. Again, I'm not complaining as I believe everyone is entitled to their opinion and I voluntarily asked for feedback. Would just like to know other authors' thoughts on the subject.
The story is called Kelly's Surprise, as of right now it's still on page 1 of the "New" story section and falls under the "Loving Wives" category.
