Just a note to say thanks to all the folks who have e-mailed the positive feedback on the 'Jennifer' series. I thank you all for your support and encouragement.

More tales are coming, as son as I can get the time to edit and run that ol' spell checker thang... :)

Thanks again, and thanks to Laurel and the staff for a terrific site!

Uhmmm - Mark - may I ask a question? did you have the whole Jennifer series done and ready ? Or are you like - writing a chapter every day???

I am just surprised to find one or two bits every day - WOW!!! (and mind you *winks* I am NOT COMPLAINING!!)

I love the series mark very much and are just hoping that it doesn't stop... ever.

Excellent series

Well written and edited series. The quality hasn't suffered at all even though I am up to installment #8 so far.

I do hope that this will be an on going series.

Good job Mark !!!

But tell us,,, is this series a fantasy of yours ?,,, cause it sure as hell could easily be a fantasy of mine,,,

Oh I love the Jennifer series i get up everymorning to check the board and read the next chapter. Keep it cumming Mark!! (pun intended)

Catching up...

Hey all... Sorry that it's been such a long time getting back to y'all. This real-life, work-a-day thing has just got to stop. Takes entirely too much time away from my fun.
As soon as I get those lottery numbers right I'm going to retire and write... Okay, so where were we?

HECATE: Yes, I wrote the series a while ago. I find it's easier to 'think-type' while the fire is burning, then go back at a later time and edit the thing and fine tune it.
That way I can let the energy flow, without thinking too much about punctuation, grammar or continuity. All that stuff seems to get in the way of a good ramble...
Then I let it ferment for a while. Sometimes a week, sometimes a number of months, before going back and reading it over and making adjustments. The 'Jennifer' series is a good example of the reasons for that. It had been at least two months since I'd written it and, re-reading it brought a lot of errors to the forefront. Spelling certainly, but also major gaps in the continuity, style, etc.
Hope that answers your question...? And thanks for the good words...

SWEDISH CHEF: Thanks also for your kind words. I'm glad you're enjoying.

CW: Is it an ongoing series? Well, in a manner of speaking, yes. But only until Chapter 12, or so... Or whenever I put the wrap on it. I often think that some of the stories tend to ramble on too much. I tend to get into a lot of 'daily' detail and worry about boring the reader so I tend to end the tale when they seem to be running low on fuel....
Is the series a fantasy of mine? Hmmm.... I'd have to say yes, since it poured out of this old brain, but not in the sense that it's been a fantasy that I had to 'put down on paper'. I get a buzz from writing and simply try to let the words flow out. Sometimes some pretty odd shit flows out, but that's for my therapist to decipher...:)

and NAKED HUNNY: Love the handle, and thanks much for your show of appreciation. I often wonder if I'm just rambling on for my own pleasure (Well, okay...yes...), and it's always a buzz to hear positive responses about those ramblings... Thanks.

Enough for now. Thanks all for your support. I'm uploading a new series, named 'Cynthia' in the next few days (do we see a pattern here...?) I need to edit it down and 'chapterize' it, then wait for Lauren (God bless Lauren) and the crew to get the time to post it.
Let me know what you think.
