Re: Girlfriends?

This is my first time posting. Hello Everyone who writes those wonderful stories. I have a question though, in yesterday's new stories(7/20) X_Bishop does not have a public feedback link. I have never seen this before on any new or old story. Is it possible to find out why?

Thanks Much,

Mallah

Hello mallah and welcome to the boards.
When a story or poem is submitted to Literotica there is an option for the author to either accept votes and public feedback, or to not accept it.

Sometimes feedback can be very cruel and disheartening for the author and sadly in order to avoid this type of malicious feedback some authors will simply decline any feedback on their stories.

Also it is possible that some authors simply don't care what anyone thinks so long as their stories get read. :)

thank you for your reply.
I have been reading these stories for about a year now. I have read some good, bad, and great ones. It saddens me to find the replies that are mean-spirited, bigoted, and outright hateful. When I first read X's story ''After the Cruise, Day of Redemption', I was impressed. I then read Irish Dragon's "Cruise of Deception" and understood it all the more. I then went through all of his other stories and realized he was black. Imagine my surprise! Since most of the stories in the index, mainly portrayed blacks, especially black men, through stereotypical behavior. After awhile, I stopped reading the interracial stories. But, here is a man who writes about people who do not fall into those catergories and makes all of his characters human. I had hoped with his latest gem, that the feedback would be on a more positive note. It is too bad that X's feedback may have been on the largely negative side. It really had to be bad enough not to include public feedback.

Thank you
