Raven hair and brown eyes

Reminds me of the Eagles song ...

Raven hair and ruby lips
Sparks fly from her fingertips
Echoed voices in the night
She's a restless spirit on an endless flight ....

I dunno about those sparks though ...

I can't help it that your post reminded me of the Eagles ..

Although -- you have to admit the song has some interesting lyrics, like these:

Well, I know you want a lover
Let me tell you brother
She's been sleeping in the Devil's bed
And there's some rumors going round
Someone's underground
She can rock you in the night time 'til your skin turns red

So, the question becomes -- is the last line there -- where your skin turns red, a good thing or a bad thing?

I mean when you get to my age -- you have to think -- does that mean she gives him a heart attack. But if you are half my age -- it might mean that makes you work so hard that you're all red and sore by end ....

So, what is it that you were looking for? So many questions, so few answers.

I wonder who the woman was ...

I went to an Eagles concert a few years back, this was before Glen Frey died, and the concert was a retrospective on their music catalog, where they told stories about how the song was written before playing it. I can't remember the story behind "Witchy Woman", but I'm assuming one of them was seduced by a "Witchy Woman" ...

It makes you wonder who it was ... of course she's probably in her 70s now, but still .. you do wonder what she was like in order to get a song written about her. On the bright side, if this ad doesn't work out for you, you can always try Rod Stewart's Maggie May ...

You led me away from home
Just to save you from being alone
You stole my heart and that's what really hurts

The mornin' sun when it's in your face really shows your age
But that don't worry me none, in my eyes, you're everything
I laughed at all of your jokes, my love, you didn't need to coax
Oh, Maggie, I couldn't have tried any more

You led me away from home
Just to save you from being alone
You stole my soul, and that's a pain I can do without

All I needed was a friend to lend a guiding hand
But you turned into a lover, and mother, what a lover, you wore me out
All you did was wreck my bed, and in the morning, kick me in the head
Oh, Maggie, I couldn't have tried any more

Dark chair?

Now .. if you have dark chair, does it recline?

How about the condition of the upholstery - does it have spots and stains?

If so, does it clean up easily?

Is it still springy or has it broken down?

Inquiring minds want to know ...

Raises hand 😁

Do you remember when we used to sing
Sha la la, la la, la la, la la, l-la te da.....

I always pictured the girl from the song to be a black haired beauty.
