The "By Rating" link on the main page doesn't work properly. It lists stories by some criteria other than Rating. They are not sorted by Rating. Also, the 'more' link on the "Top Stories" list gives the same results.

Also, it might be nice to be able to sort searches by rating.

Hey,
we've been trying forever to get the links for top stories fixed. I have always hated how it doesn't sort right.

Nothing will come of this. lol.

Not to mention the whole rating system is corrupt anyway as some people must have multiple log ins that they use to shoot down certain stories, and make their own stories rise to the top. It is interesting how the voting was much more honest on old Chyoo when it took a time investment to record a vote.

I know it can't be right when one of my stories gets 50 1 votes in a short period of time. 2's, 3's 4's with comment represent honest voting and feelings. I try to always add a comment to say why I liked or disliked a story.

I just wish we could have one vote one person.

Oh boy,
I remember how long it use to take to vote... It isn't like it is now. I personally don't worry as much about the voting as I use to. I mean, in the past it use to upset me when I was getting low ratings... now, well that's fine. The system is flawed. The most important thing as Jake said is the comments. Feedback is great! It doesn't take forever, so send it.

A great feature the site could add would be a comment required for ratings below 3. Say the person picks a 1 or 2, the site should ask them to add a comment. It would be better, I think.

The same type of thing the site uses for rejecting threads. When an editor rejects a thread he MUST put a comment.
