Just a personal gripe here, but what type of rape story are you looking for? The ones where the girl teases a guy too long, and then they come back at them hardcore, she learns a lesson, walking away feeling filthy while secretly enjoying it...

... or where the girl is stalked, drilled against her wishes and left behind as a peice of meat, terrified and emotionally shattered?

I'm not trying to get on anyone's bad side - I've written an NC piece (leaning towards the latter, actually), and believe the genre has it's role in literature and erotica.

In all the NC stories I've read on here (admittedly not many), it's either the guy gets off in raping a girl who 'deserved' it (where apparently the girl doesn't mind), or the girl gets off on being forced into sex. In either case, the "Oh, get real" light goes off in my head, and that makes it hard to appreciate a story like that.

My character didn't enjoy it. She was drugged, so she didn't quite know what was going on.

Revenge was had, for what it's worth. She was still shattered by the end, though. There was hope at the end, but no resolution. I wasn't pitch-black dark story, but definitely grim, IMHO.

I'm writing a slavery story and I've run into this same problem. I want to make it hardcore and maybe even a few chapters of it, but part of me wants to also tag on a stupid ending line (even though I hate it when other authors do it) of the guy saying something like "Was that how you thought it would be when you asked?" or something.

Is it cool to post a slavery/nc/D/s story with no happy ending, so to speak?

Lit I'm afraid thrives on Vanillia fudge, it has to be all clear cut and the victim has to love it.

In real life rape is shit, it's bad, it hurts, my wife was raped... yes she did ask for it, but it still wasn't pleasant. Yes her attackers did get paid, paid big time, more than they deserved really for just being human, but shit happens and we have some very violent natured friends.

Rape has a role to play in erotic writing because like all other genre's of erotica, it's fact based, it happens. But don't hold your breath to get it posted here if it's too life like, and don't try to glamourise it too much, make sure your reader knows what the poor bitch is going through.

What, my stories have no merit?

Perhaps it needs clarification. In summary, a college guy's sister comes to visit him and check out the campus. The night she arrives, his housemates are hosting a house party, and she decides to partake. Underage drinking and whatnot, she talks it up with one of the renters. Charmed, she fails to see him slip her a roofie.

Ultimately, he takes advantage of her in her drugged state. She's a mess (both not feeling right and not knowing what the heck's going on). Later, when her brother snaps to, he steps in and takes her to the hospital. For the remainder of the story, she's a mute, emotional wreck. He confronts the rapist for her and settles the issue.

To be fair, I put a little happy spin on the end, kinda for myself, because the sister is my favorite character in the series, and having her get raped was not fun to write. In my universe, it's more grim than the ending leads one to believe, because (as later chapters will show), she is still very much distressed by the incident.

I'll have to take a peek to see if I can figure this out on my own. Like ClaireBlossom said, I wouldn't want to put my heart and soul into a story to have it rejected and I can't bring myself to write a story where a woman is raped, but by the end "loves" it. Sorry, that's just not me.

Simply because she was drugged and her ordeal was a more passive affair, also there was a half happy ending.

Try describing the full horror of it, the sober and drug free girl's screams and pleas for mercy, the violent sex acts and physical abuse, the blood and shit everywhere after they force the wine bottle up her, both holes, maybe for good measure beat the crap out of her for fun. You know, all the things that happen in real rape, then you'll see how far Lit will take the genre as a posted story.
