So, I joined a local spanking group, met the host, and am going to participate in my first party on Saturday! Well, participate is a loose term... I doubt I'll be comfortable to get in on any action, but just socializing with like-minded people (in person) is getting me all worked up with anxiety and excitement.

I'm also going to my first munch Wednesday! Again with the nerves and excitement. The guy I dated for a week a while ago will be there with his 'girlfriend' (for lack of better term) and that scares me, but I have another person prepared to introduce me around to the group, and also my friend is going for me to hide behind. I know I'll be fine, but again, nerves and excitement.

I dunno if I've mentioned anything about this, but my job ended Sunday and I have the next 2-3 months free. FREE! So all of these events that I used to miss due to being at work are open and available for me now. Breaking my way into the local community! OMG!!

Now now... no comparing ourselves to other women. First off it's a silly thing to do (because you're adorable), secondly there is *always* something to make one think someone else is prettier (because we are our own worst critics), and thirdly- obviously her being "pretty" (whatever), didn't protect her from his acting like a cheating ass, did it?
