Ranma was working up a mighty sweat training in the dojo. "I think I'd better quit and hit the baths" he thought.

Working at the Nekohanten (Cat Cafe).

It's nearing closing time at the Nekohanten, and he is busy wiping down tables, under the orders of Cologne and Shampoo. Right now Shampoo is off once again trying to get that wretched Saotome to take her on a date. At the thought of his rival, his hand curls into a fist in anger. "Damn you Saotome, how dare you lead on my Shampoo."


ooc: Now, all I need is someone to be Shampoo. Any takers?

OOC: I'll play Shampoo for now unless someone else decides they want to play her

Shampoo slowly walked back into the Nekohanten with a sad expression on her face, her eyes watching the floor.

"Why Ranma no want to date Shampoo?"

"Because he doesn't love you. He never will. Why can't you see that Shampoo? Why can't you see that I am the one who loves you???" Bounds to her, trying to take her into his arms, but ends up latching onto a wooden pole instead. "Shampoo, you've gotten so thin, and hard."

Shampoo hits Mousse on the head.

"Broom is not Shampoo and Ranma does love Shampoo. He's too shy to tell Shampoo that he love her."

Picks himself up off the floor, rubbing his head and dusting himself off. "But he doesn't love you!!! Why are you too stupid to realize that!?!?!?!" Realising what he said, he gasps and slaps a hand over his mouth. "I..I'm sorry..I..I didn't mean it..." Closes his eyes and braces himself for the beating he knows is coming.

Shampoo stares at Mousse with her mouth slightly open. Then her bottom lip begins to quiver and she runs upstairs to her bedroom.

After a few minutes of nothing, he slowly opens his eyes, realising he hasn't been beaten. "Sh..Shampoo???" Looks around, and not seeing her, goes upstairs to her room. "Shampoo, I'm sorry. I didn't mean it. Please forgive me."

Shampoo stays silentl on her bed with her knees against her chest. Shampoo stared at the wall, still shocked about what Mousse said to her.

He tries the door, opening it a crack and looking in. "Shampoo, please, I really am sorry. I didn't mean it. I love you. You aren't stupid."

Shampoo slowly looks over at Mousse, not saying a word. Her eyes study Mousse's face. She gently pats the spot next to her on the bed.

He walks over slowly, carefully, kneeling beside her and taking her hand in his. "Shampoo, all my life, since I've met you, all I've ever wanted is to marry you, be a good husband, and make you happy. I didn't mean those mean things I said."

IC:
Holding my Kendo stick at the ready, I face the simple block of granite. This will take all my nerve, all my concentration. The Red-Haired Girl will have to notice THIS.

With deceptively simple and swift motions, I strike the block agan and again, striking like the lightning which is heralded by the thunder. Chips of granite fly, and the block swiftly begins to form itself into a statue of the Pig-Tailed Girl. Finally, my work is done, and the statue gleams brightly in the front lot of the school. My contemplation of the likeness is broken by a single person clapping.

Shampoo looked at Mousse.

"But Mousse no can marry Shampoo. You not beat her, Ranma did so Shampoo will marry him."

"Then give me one more chance to beat you. If I beat you, you will marry me. If I lose, I..I'll leave the Nekohanten, and Japan, and go back to the village to live the rest of my life in shame..."

 

[Daia Balyn]

"Okay, Shampoo will give you another chance, but you must talk to Great Grandmother first. Shampoo don't want you to leave if you don't beat her, it's good to have Mousse around."

He's surprised to hear her say that. "Really, you like having me around?"

 

[Daia Balyn]

Shampoo nodded her head.

"Shampoo like Mousse around only when he's not bothering Shampoo."
