Rand Paul tweets reports questioning ‘landscaping dispute’ theory

Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) on Wednesday tweeted two reports questioning suggestions that the alleged attack against him was sparked by a landscaping dispute.

Paul tweeted a report from The Washington Examiner that claims the neighbor accused of attacking the senator "was aggressively anti-Trump and anti-GOP." The report also quotes two of Paul's neighbors who question the notion that the attack was centered on landscaping.

Paul also tweeted a post from Breitbart News that quotes several of the same neighbors featured in the Examiner's report.

What, is he being held captive in a basement by Antifa?

I don't know what was behind the attack — though there's literally no evidence this was a political dispute — but I'm pretty sure Paul knows and isn't saying.

What could embarrass Rand (named after Ayn Rand) Paul enough to silence him? An admission that he supports some huge gov't program? An argument over anesthetics? Dispute over licensing medical-quality sex toys they co-designed? Fighting over who gets to play Big Nurse next?

First thought: a lover's spat

The same thing entered my mind, although there is no evidence of that at this point.

I think much of the agenda of extremists and the power-obsessed is driven by unfulfilled sexual/intimacy needs. Rapists and sexual harassers can never seem to feel fulfilled, and some of the most bitter and angry people on the Lit boards appear to have serious problems with intimacy.
