"Ramona" author Beverly Cleary dead at 104

Sorry, you got me there. Ms Cleary wrote the Ramona Quimby series, not Ramona, the southwestern classic by Helen Hunt Jackson. Do I show my age and upbringing?

I'm going to have to do some serious updating to my perennial Dead Pool selections.

Huh, I would never have guessed she was still alive. Maybe I'll read The Mouse and the Motorcycle again for old times' sake.

Same here. I loved reading Ramona The Brave as a kid. Scholastic was cleaning up in the classrooms with the book order sign-ups back in the day! :D

Again, being able to live a full, rich and long life just doing your craft and doing it well. That's all it's about.
