I'm just trying to figure out what role I played in this.

Is the poem supposed to make sense, or can it be weird and confusing?

Just remembered this old piece of write... I barely have a clue what it means myself, but I'm a bit proud of how that first stanza sounds. ;)

When A Man
Liar ©

When a man slanders
in no man's land,
like a mad banderole
and a bandoleer
in a nomad's hand,
slanting unmanned,
bland and unplanned,
it is all banter
and no damn demand.

A man of canter
and dubious trade,
all babbittry babble
but no barricade,
barely captioned,
a boredom canonade,
stacking blah
upon bloody parade,
redundant, repeated,
repelling, replayed,

and then finally filtered,
the filler dreads fade.

feedback

I make sure I write one senseless poem a day to explain all the senseless things that happen to me.

Wickedeve the poem can be anything but has to rhyme.

Liar I think your poem is about people who don't know what their talking about in a poem I would call it people who talk shit.

now i realise it's meant to be a poem *rolling eyes* see... i get there in the end. mostly. :D

WickedEve umm, did somebody forget to tell you this is a site allows that kinda stuff? maybe we should have a little chat.

Tess... do you not realise by now that you are in all my dreams?

It has a "Walt kelly" feeling, Liar- very nice! :rose:

Words of Rhyme

Here goes.... :D

Words of Rhyme

Words, our basis of communication,
Between us, used in consultation.
Sometimes we shout in jubilation.
Gabble and burble in excitation.

Words collected in coordination,
Used to gain cooperation,
Not uttered as an condemnation.
Or designated as an obligation.

Words used in deliberation,
Sometimes in angry confrontation.
To show a deep agitation.
Or express a blatant aggravation.

Words written, avoiding complication,
When spoken, brings exasperation,
Destined to spark an altercation,
And needless intimidation.

Words spoken in dedication
Or used in sympathetic consolation,
With heartfelt commemoration,
Words joined in orchestration.

Words softly spoken in illumination,
Resolving a delicate situation,
Taking away all speculation,
To bring about a salvation.

I'll try. It may kill me, though.
If you don't see a poem from me, then you'll know I'm dead. :D

:D

i hope you try it again. it really is fun. :)

my kiss better be on your list
of doings screwing viewing chewing
nibbling on my ear ya hear don't tear
because I said so I blow slow whoa and swallow you down below
I'm seen between your legs just feed me scrambled eggs never call me Meg
and I'll never call you Greg, okay?

:D

trip, slip watch the dip stick
trick, sick, quicker than slick,
flick Mick a filter tip
strip! how?
pow wow, eat chow
scary frau, bow now
but don't look down, fumble the crown
and frown as you drown
drown
drown
face in the mud
churning the cud
watching the crud on tv
it's so not me, that hopping flea
that bites and skites
and skrikes 'til he's three, free
fall, heaven's call, smoke Pall Mall
blow in her ear, when the time is near
steer her away and sing all day
soon it'll be May and they'll say
sail away one fine sunny day
or lie with me,
on the hay, play, say
what? come again? caring men,
mother hen
the sky is falling,
how appalling
don't look up! you'll trip again!

superbly nutso, i think i'm hooked.

this may not be right, but I had so much fun writing it, I had to post it anyway.

girls may have little say
in how the spend their day
walking
talking
balking
but
still
dragged
nagged
tagged
forced of course
no remorse
by the hand that leads
feeds
makes em bleed
plants a seed
make a new creed
say you want to go
then don't walk slow
life is fast and theres a flow
don't have to be low
runaway, far away
you aren't just a lay
it'll all be okay
you just have to say
I wish I may
I wish to pay
and in the end walk away
start your life over pam
over there is sam
such a little sweet lamb
you'll have a new fam
to life, you won't say dam
happy as a clam
with beetles and jam
and a little girl named tammy
that likes fried yammys
make em remember you soul ain't a deed
you have to stand up for yourself
if you want to be freed
