"Hres here, in position. Report-in team, over."
It was one in the morning. The night's weather could have been better. But at least it was not completely clear out, there was still some cloud cover that slowly made it way in front of the Moon. Its light would have made Hres and the team more visible, and that was something they always tried to avoid on any of their operations. Even so, they were trained to be stealthy and keep out of plain sight, and that was exactly how they moved about on the run-down structure they were infiltrating. So far, so good. Not a one of the sentries saw or heard them, and not a shot was fired. From the sentries, at least. Hres already had to takedown one guy with a suppressed shot to the back of the head. Hopefully his two teammates did not have to do any of the same.
"Alright. Objectives spotted. Four tangos. All armed. Over"
The rest of the team was inside, and getting into position to recieve further orders. Hres hung upside-down on his rope. He had silently rappeled down from the roof, along the outside wall, and stopped his descent just above a window. Inching down by stepping ever so slightly forward, he allowed himself a peek at whatever or whoever was possibly inside. It may have been a dark night, but their highly advanced equipment came with the age-old standard: Nightvision goggles. The scene inside the room could not have been more clear if it was in broad daylight.
Their intel had proved correct. Hres found the two hostages bound and on their knees inside. Around them were four masked gunmen with assault rifles and submachine guns, and one interrogator with a heavy-looking handgun. None had spotted the Delta Team leader, not even the gunman standing watch at the very same window. Not wanting to test his luck, despite his skill, Hres stepped back a pace or two and flipped himself rightside-up. He made a quick check of his suppressed SMG and various gadetry, and advised his teammates the exact location of the room.
"If you guys are in position.... I'll neutralize the window watcher and enter first. As soon as you hear, breach the door and take out the interoggator. Then clear the room. Over"
Hres crouched down against the wall, readying himself to jump back and breach the window. This was the toughest part of the toughest operation they could get. The two hostages had to survive, and there was to be little to no collateral damage. But he had faith in his team and their abilities.
"Ready......"
((Looking for someone to play a hostage or team member. At least one female, but males can join too. Also, I know this doesn't exactly fit Clancy's canon. Delta Team is my own making.))
