I've been blue most of the day and the fact that it rained all day did not help matters. I tried to go out for awhile hoping that fresh air would alleviate my mood...I came back in frozen, wet, and wind blown. :(

I'm sitting here now deciding what I still need to do this evening, if anything. I can see the lights of the West hills and they are beautiful. I wish I had someone to hug or at least hold me for a while. I get like this after several days off. It's too much time alone I think. I'm actually grateful to be going back to work tomorrow.

Rain can be romantic. Take a hot bath, have a glass of wine, get a good book, and put on some music.

Well, sometimes my life just don't make sense at all
When the mountains look so big
And my faith just seems so small

So hold me Jesus, 'cause I'm shaking like a leaf
You have been King of my glory
Won't You be my Prince of Peace

And I wake up in the night and feel the dark
It's so hot inside my soul
I swear there must be blisters on my heart

So hold me Jesus, 'cause I'm shaking like a leaf
You have been King of my glory
Won't You be my Prince of Peace

Surrender don't come natural to me
I'd rather fight You for something I don't really want
Than to take what You give that I need
And I've beat my head against so many walls
Now I'm falling down, I'm falling on my knees

And this Salvation Army band is playing this hymn
And Your grace rings out so deep
It makes my resistance seem so thin

I'm singing hold me Jesus, 'cause I'm shaking like a leaf
You have been King of my glory
Won't You be my Prince of Peace

You have been King of my glory
Won't You be my Prince of Peace

Close your eyes and bring yourself to where I was five minutes ago.......

Sitting in the shade on a comfortable chair on the deck. The hot sun blazing from the blue sky. A cool breeze whispering over your shoulders in that small summer sun dress you wear. You know the one.... you would not wear it out in public for it shows to much and is far too short, but for summer hazy days relaxing with a good book it's perfect.

Now reach for that great new book you bought the other day and escape into it..... when thirst reaches your parched throat partake of cool leamonade the has ice chinking against the glass as you raise it to your mouth........Enjoy the trickle that escapes down your chin and travels down your cleveage..... delight by taking ice from the glass and tracing it a path around you heated neck........

Escape back into your book..... relax....... enjoy the summers day and what it brings........

Sneak a bottle of wine into the movie Amelie

Don't forget a glass, cork puller, and a bag of Cheesey Puffs...I wish I could be there with you
