PBS CEO Paula Kerger refused to defend PBS host Jim Lehrer’s debate performance, even failing to push back against the idea that Lehrer is too old and too white for the job.

“It was a very complicated debate structure, and you saw that I think in the debate last night,” Kerger said yesterday on CNN when asked to evaluate Lehrer.

CNN’s Carol Costello then asked whether Lehrer should have had the job in the first place. “There was criticism when Jim Lehrer was initially named to be a moderator. People said: ‘oh, another white guy...;

I am no fan of biased liberals like Jim Lehrer, but he shouldn't be attacked for his race or his color.

Costello needs to provide a public appology not just to Lehrer but to society as a whole for her RACIST comment. Obviously, if someone made a public statement saying someone was "too black" or "too brown" to be a moderator, hell would have broken loose. This can't be allowed to go unresponded to.

Reverse discrimination at its finest and proof that no matter what the "minorities" may still try to call out if you're white straight and male you are truly fucked, not a crutch to lean on.

If this guy was "Too black" Al Sharpton would be on a plane heading for a press conference on the steps of the studio within an hour.

And Obama would say "If I had a reporter in my family he would look like him!"

With the benefit of 20/20 hindsight, 2 minute to summarize your position on big issues doesn't play to President Obama's strength, which is long-form policy discussion. It plays perfectly to Romney's sound-bite campaign.

In all honesty, President Obama is simply not a good debater. He hasn't done well against Hillary in 2008 or Romney in 2012. He'll have to step up his game for the next debate.

He has good points, but he has NO ABILITY to entertain, no charisma, like you said, he just seems to flat-out suck at them. He's like the kid that does really well on papers but when it's time to give your oral presentation, then fucking dive-bomb it. Looks great if you read it, sounds terribly when he does it.
