Dude was a national treasure. It's almost unheard of in TV land to come across someone that EVERYONE liked.

Someone has to be I suppose.

And no-one has mentioned he had the Radio 1 afternoon show that featured Mrs Dales Diary.

Or that he was a BBC DJ who didn't play Teenage Kicks ironically.

oh, i saw him hosting never mind the buzzcocks. he was alright. i had no idea who he was, but it was clear from context that he was kind of a big deal.
