One of the best and finest character actors ever. When he starred in a role, you knew his name and his face off the bat, but unlike typical celebrity names shining and distracting, you quickly forgot it and became immersed in the character he portrayed. Every damn time. Also his own name kicked ass period. Just grew up seeing "Powers Boothe" in the creds and feeling that energy knowing you were gonna have a good time. Gonna miss dude. :(

Powers Allen Boothe (June 1, 1948 – May 14, 2017) was an American television and film actor. Some of his most notable roles include his Emmy-winning portrayal of Jim Jones in Guyana Tragedy: The Story of Jim Jones and his turns as TV detective Philip Marlowe in the 1980s, Cy Tolliver on Deadwood, "Curly Bill" Brocious in Tombstone, Vice-President and subsequently President Noah Daniels on 24, and Lamar Wyatt in Nashville.

A Hollywood rarity. He stayed married to the same woman for almost 50 years.

Luk should see if the widow will sell him part of the dead guy's chin.
