R.I.P. Omar Sharif

Lawrence of Arabia and Funny Girl comes to mind too.... he was such a good actor and will be missed!
 
Between Lawrence of Arabia and Dr. Zhivago he spent more time on screen than some guys with twice as many credits.
 
I think I'll watch Lawrence of Arabia in his memory. It's years since I've seen it. And Omar had the best entrance in cinema history in that flick.

My dad and I went to see it at the drive in when it came out. Yeah, time to find the DVD.

But the frontier post is wrong about his entrance. The movie starts out with him getting on his bike, riding down the road and getting killed.
