R.I.P. NightMoves...

I'm not sure how many of you remember NightMoves. He posted in WildRose's thread, Biggbear's thread and a few others. He was a trucker who was on disability because of a host of medical problems.

I just received an e-mail from his mom and he passed away last night. He was a good friend and I will miss him. The last time we talked he was just out of the hospital and was doing fairly well. I feel awful that I didn't talk to him more, but rl intervened.

R.I.P. my friend, I cry real tears for you.

I never had the pleasure of knowing NightMoves but is such sad news to hear...and cookiejar...even if you didn't talk to him often I'm sure he knew he was in your thoughts...we all understand about rl here....{{{{{{{{{{cookiejar}}}}}}}}}}

Thank you for your kind words, it was just a shock. He always sent me silly little poems and jokes and when I opened the e-mail I was expecting that.

Remember how he made you smile......how much joy he brought to you. I'm sure you did the same for him.

It's okay to be sad. It's okay to cry, but don't forget what a wonderful person he was.

Cookie, I was able to actually go to New York and meet him and his mom. I remember he was a HUGE Mark Martin fan, and we watched one of the first races of the 2003 season. He also had a big collection of die cast cars, and was a civil war buff. He told me about some of his health problems, and I know how much he wanted to get better. It's comforting to know that he's no longer in pain, and can finally be at peace.

Although I never had the chance to know him, I am sorry to hear of his death. My condolences to you all, for the loss of your friend. The tears and sadness you feel are a tribute to the love you had for him, for the friend he was to you.

Sue, thank you for those words. I received a group e-mail condolence card. Writing my feelings helped and I feel happy to know he had great friends.

Thank you hon for letting us know........I didn't know him that well, but he was a really nice guy.

I know the pain you felt, because almost 2 yrs ago I lost a dear friend from lit who I got to know very well, but never got to visit. We meet dear friends here, and when they pass on, the pain is so deep. I feel for you hon, and I send a big hug to you.

We are just lucky to have them enter our lifes......and make a deep place in our hearts.
