R.I.P. Davy Jones

That's very old for a monkey.

(Sorry i couldn't resist)

Every time I hear him mentioned all I can think about is his guest shot on the Brady Bunch.

But I won't hold that against him, too bad not exactly a ripe old age these days.

I saw the Monkees, Gary "US" Bonds and Peter Noone perform in the Atlantic City Convention Hall in the late 1980s. It was great fun. :)

I guess he's in Davey Jones' locker now.

No disrespect intended. I just couldn't resist. He had a good sense of humor. He'd understand.

I'll miss you, monkey man. R.I.P.

I used to like the Monkees, as a musical group and in their TV show in the Sixties. People call them a copy of The Beatles, and I guess they were, but they were good in their own right.

I watched their show on TV recently and enjoyed it so much. I am sorry I never got to see them perform.

I pray for his family and friends in this time of grief.

"Cheer up, Sleepy Jean.
Oh, what can it mean.
To a daydream believer
And a homecoming queen."

Lived the daydream. Rest in the light, Davy. :rose:
