I watched the movie the other night and was just simply amased, I was seriously glued to the screen!

Has anyone else seen Quills?

I have seen his translated works in some larger used book stores like those you find in larger cities. Libraries might also keep some of his works. And of course there are many sites honouring his work.

Excellent movie, Geoffrey Rush was typically excellent. As was the radiant Kate Winslet, who is certainly beautiful enough to make a young cleric forget his vows. The scene where he makes love to her after she's dead (well, imagines it, no necrophilia) was incredible. She's a great actress, and incredibly gorgeous. All you hear about it how she weighs too much. What a load of crap.

You know this is making want to actual rent the DVD. I have seen the DVD at my work place & was surprised that it was about De Sade.

The only movie that I have seen thats sort of based on his live was the one with Robert England (Freddy Krugger fame). Don't remember the name off the top of my head just now.
