QUIET RAGE
Set in the Age of Apocalypse, the X-men are slowly recovering from the battles that Apocalypse and his army has brought. With his forces few and far between, the X-men rebuild and reflect on past events while trying to move on with their new lives.
Despite this, unknown to the populous, a wide spread virus has suddenly appeared. Its functions causing its victim to go made with an unspeakable rage and indoubtly go mad from from it. Many tend to pass on strapped to their beds, others go on a wild killing spree before mobs beat them down, or in the end the virus eats away at their vital orgins causing them to vomit their own blood and guts. The virus itself has been given the designation, the Queit Rage for it strikes without warning and those infected are thrown into a unknown rage. It is unknown of where the virus orginated...
As it continues to claim lives world wide, mutant and human a like, the virus has finally managed to appear on the door step of the X-men's home. Claiming the X-man known as Sabertooth in its grips he fights against the virus desperately but is only able to do so much provided by his healing factor. Unable to kill him but causing much pain and anguish the virus clings desperately to the X-man as he himself fights for his own survival and sanity. Fleeing the X-men he wanders into the wastelands wanting to protect his friends from himself all while trying to fight against the virus' organ feeding agents.
It is at this moment, the Timebroker contacts a one Clarice Ferguson (Blink), informing her and the X-men that this virus is the work of an unknown rift in time. Its presences is definately not suppose to be and has caused quite a calamity in their world; threatening to erradicate all life one victim at a time.
Hard pressed to save her father figure, Blink agrees to travel through time and space in hopes of finding answers. These answers are in the form of Sabertooth's counter part of Earth 616. Hoping to retrieve him and acquire his help, Blink and a few X-men travel through time and space in their hunt for the mutant counterpart, only he is unlike the Sabertooth that they are used to in their time. They can only wonder if he will actually help or make things worse...
With the virus still wrecking havok in their world, the remaining X-men begin a search for thier time's Mr. Sinister the only known man outside of Dark Beast who is able to come up with a valid cure and save their fellow X-man.

OOC: So this deals in the AoA universe with a breif hitch-hike to the original Marvel universe of Earth 616. Blink and a few others will track Sabertooth down while those in the AoA universe go in search of Mr. Sinister. We are using those heroes that were present during the AoA timeline so do a little Wiki look up to find out all that is involved.
This story does not follow complete canon so lets not get too carried away. Some folks may not know the full timeline others may be well informed. Either way this is a story we can work on ourselve. All I want is a small cast and the possibility that some are willing to play more than on character.
