Quick question...

I'm going to have to resubmit the first chapter of the series that I'm writing because I had a link to a flickr account that had pictures of the characters instead of just standard descriptions. No big deal, I'm just going to resubmit it without the link.

The question that I have would be this: Would it be best to include something at the beginning of the story saying that, if they wanted to see the pictures of the characters, to create a thread here or in another section and then post the link or even the pictures up?

I don't think you can even reference another site in a note. Your best bet would be to put a note and the link on your home/bio page that they will allow.

Have to say that's a pretty cool idea letting people see the characters in the flesh so to speak.

Yeah, that seems like the best way to go about it.

As for the characters, considering that it is fantasy with characters such as elves, goddesses, etc... and I prefer to have a model to go by when describing characters, I had a bunch picked out that were perfect. They are going to be drawn and not actual people, but that's okay as well.

Yeah, it's going to have to be in your bio. Any reference within the story itself to anything outside of Literotica is going to get bounced.

If by some chance the pics are ones that you've taken, own the rights to, and aren't sexually explicit ( nudity okay ), you could always post the story as an illustrated story.

EDIT: Ah, drawings. That's different. Drawings can be as naughty as you want, though they would still have to be your work, or work that you have the rights to utilize.

Hmmmm...so they can't be animated pictures that I've just randomly found? Even if I post some type of disclaimer? Because, in most cases, that's what they are.

Nope, not to post as an illustrated story. If that's the case, you'll have to go the note in your bio and link method.
