This has probably been asked before, but how do you add the mini letter-from-the-author to a story?You know, the one at the beginning in italics? The story I want to add it to has already been submitted.

Not sure exactly what you're asking, but if it's something in front of the text in italics, you should have submitted it with the story, where you wanted it put, and set it off with <i> </i>. If you just submitted, you won't lose any ground if you reopen it on your submissions page, add that, and resubmit it again.

If the story has posted already, it gets more complicated. You will have to resubmit the story including the change, and name it "EDIT Dick and Jane," or whatever the name is. You should probably add a note in the notes field to the effect the new version is an edited version.

The OP said that this was submitted, not posted. Should be able just to click on the "pending" tag and make the addition and resubmit.

Are you simply asking how to make italics?

Type <i> at the beginning of your prologue and then type </i> at the end.
