Quick Question

In this forum, are we limited to characters that are 18 or over? I ask because in different states in the US and (I believe) in the UK, the age of consent is 16.

I have an idea for a thread I'd like to start, but it'd be better if the girl(s) was/where 16 or 17 instead of 18 or 19.

This question has come up a lot - not only in the SRP, but also in the stories published at Lit. Yes, in the UK, the age of consent is 16. I don't believe there are any states that go below 17, but I might be wrong.

The reason, as I've been told, the characters are kept at 18 is because this site is run from California, where legal age of consent is 18.

However, it is truly all in one's head, really.

Thanks. I had heard it was that way in the stories so I assumed it for here as well. I've HEARD that some states in the US have an age of consent of 16 but I can't verify that... and it was never an issue IRL so it wasn't something I cared too much about.
