Back in the day when I would get paid with checks instead of direct deposit I used to lose them all the time. I once used a tax return check as a book mark in a cookbook. I found it 3 yrs later. Direct deposit is an absolute necessity for me.

Congrats on the rock star status! I don't suppose you would link us to where we can hear your music? I understand if you won't. If I was well-known, I don't think I'd want people on Lit knowing who the real me is!

I wish I could just come down to visit. If it was that easy, I'd go every week! Money is an issue, as it is for many who want to travel for personal reasons these days. I'm going to try for a weekend trip after the first of the year for just me, and then a summer trip with the kids and I. My family sends me the occasional picture of the landscape and that makes me happy, but at the same time, makes me miss it more. Phoenix is beautiful in it's own way. Not the rolling green hills beauty, like where I live now, but Phoenix is still beautiful to me!
