First - how do I move a story into a different category? I emailed right after I submitted the story but it posted today in the wrong category. Should I email Lauren directly?

And - one reader sending me feedback said he tried to vote but was told he couldn't. He said he hadn't yet voted on the story - is this a common problem?

The fastest way to correct the category would be to resubmit the story with a note in the comment field that it's a category correction and should replace the original posting.

There are several people who have complained about not being able to vote, but it doesn't appear to be a wide-spread problem. No one seems to be able to pinpoint the cause, as it seems to be intermittent even for most of those affected.

Thank you - I resubmitted the story just as you said - and today it was fixed (it took a week and a half but I was attempting patience - lol) Thanks again for the information and advice!
