questions for troll's, fake names and other fools

no..no blasting,torching..i'm just confused.

why do you do it? this is one place where a person can get
almost any question replied to. keep it up and it will change.. of coarse all you will know is that you can't get
get on the bb without registering.

those that are registered will find that no one will answer
their questions or even get on their threads. unless it's
someone so new they don't know any better. the trouble for you is people learn fast.

i think some of you are under age. i also think some of you
just act that way.

I vote for all of the above. Especially the regulars who have a "nice guy" reputation on the board and keep it that way by posting their crap comments as trolls. I've been calling one of them a snake. But the thought has seriously crossed my mind that he was sent by Satan to prey on weaknesses of women. Satan can take all forms, he doesn't come with horns and a pitch fork to make it obvious for us to spot him. He can be a troll if he wants to. Or a snake, his original form in the Garden of Eden.

As you can see, some of our adults (yes, they may even been real adults by age, but that is by age alone, not intelligence) enjoy hiding under a name that the rest of us at Lit don't know about. They do that because they are afraid to ruin the reputation of their registered name that we know them by. Example...say you're too afraid to go against a popular, well respected member here, you may opt to hide under another name so you can flame, cuss out, or all around trash that member. Get it yet? It's stupid and childish, but unfortunately many feel the need to do it.

Now, in some cases I have posted as a guest. Those, however were to add humor to a thread. Like a while back when we had a "party" at Ambro's house...I acted as Sam Malone and Cliff, and Ambro was Norm. It was funnier to see those names posted in his party thread than it would have been for he and I to crack Cheers jokes under our own names.

The third type of guest would be someone who is new to Lit. Perhaps they've lurked some or perhaps it's their first day with us. Maybe they're unsure why they should register, or they think after that one day they'll be gone, so why bother registering? Now, those guests are not trolls. They usually come here with a serious question or whatever.

I hope that some of this has helped answer your questions. It's usually easy to tell which guest is a troll, aomic relief, or simply a new person (either by the name or their actions). Best advice is to just ignore the troll posts. They feed upon the attention they get. Once the attention goes away, perhaps they will too?

So the LORD God said to the serpent, "Because you have done this, "Cursed are you above all the livestock and all the wild animals! You will crawl on your belly and you will eat dust all the days of your life.

Hmmm... I was taught that that the devil took the form of the serpent to tempt Eve. And the serpent lost his legs and became the snake, crawling and eating dust (see above).

So, yes, the Bible does say snake. I read the entire 3rd chapter, quoted those two verses, and never once was the snake refered to as Satan or Devil.

True. The version Tiggs is reading from sounds like a more modern translation than the online version I found for vs. 14 and 15.

Tiggs- the snake is a metaphor for the devil himself. It doesn't come with explanations at the end of the chapter to point those things out though. The snake/serpent is used throughout the bible as a representation of the devil. Go to Askjeeves.com and ask the question about the serpent and the bible, there's a whole list of verses with explanations.

In any case, enough about snakes. It is Christmas!
