questionable post

I was just wondering if the general membership agree or disagree with me on this subject.

I enjoy posting to the Amateur Pic board but, I dont like the members or non-members that post picture, they say are of themself and are not. If someone wants to post a picture of something they like or enjoy I see nothing wrong with that as long as they do not break the law in doing so.

My responce to this....now..is that I will not post to the thread.

Do you agree that not posting is the right way to handle Threads of this nature???????

I would like your takes on this subject.

Sorry, I haven't been to that board in many months. But I think you're asking this:
If someone posts a picture they claim to be of themself but you know it is a fake, the best way to handle it is to just not post to the thread. Is that it?

If I knew the pic was of someone else and the pic was on the web somewhere, my post to the thread would be a link to that spot on the web and a simple comment asking if the person who posted the pic to Lit was the same person as the one on that other site. You never know, it could be! Not likely, probably. And then you'd have gotten your point across that the pic was a fake.

I have, in the past, called people on it. Most notably Sabineteas. I find its more comical to watch the drooling morons send mushy compliments to a man(in one case) than to bother speaking up.

Its unfortunate that the AmPicFeedback forum has become a low class porn pic section and I have not visited it in some time.

I think your actions are fine Tony...not posting to the thread is a measured response. If you do choose to call someone on their pics I would suggest looking for a way to indict them with other evidence. Its too much work to point out all the other details/discrepancies.

Here is a story relayed to me by someone who runs a huge club on Yahoo...

He PMs a woman member of his club who had posted a pic of herself and introducing herself to the club. He asks her if she has any more pics because she is so sexy and he wants to see her gorgeous body. She, of course, says no...she only has the one pic.

He tells her, thats funny, I have over 50 of the ones from the series you posted. She didnt respond back.

The irony of this is that the member picked me out of the 36,000 + members to e-mail on how to get a avatar under their name....lol. I had spoken earlier to another member about the (what I call phony) posts.....they agreed that the pictures did seem to be of a amature nature. Now I was just going to leave it alone when out of the blue I get this e-mail.

Now this member list exhibitionism as one of her hobbies, and has posted a number of pictures that claims to be her.
So I tell her how to pick a picture she likes and size it to the size the Lit says too and attach it to her profile. Then she asks where she can get the pictures to size.......lol. I also told her that what I thought of her post and she replied was "Well that is your opinion and of course I respect it....yes so very helpful on the avatars I am eternally grateful I was so stuck...thank you again "

So thanks for the advise....and I will keep doing what I have been doing....not posting to the Threads.

I am amazed at your detective work tony. Seems to me if you clain it is you it had better be you. If you want to post pictures of things you like thats fine, just identify them.

Actually a lady by the name of STARFISH posted about people posting fake stuff. She was very disagreeable about it. People will post what they want regardless.

I personally wouldn't worry about it unless they were posting in the personals. People should always be real in the personals. If I was looking for a short fat bald guy he'd be out of luck if he posted a picture of someone else. He'd miss out wouldn't he?
