My publisher sent me a notice of an Open Call at Storm Moon Press for an anthology. Does anyone know anything about them or is published there?

I know a few publishers names, but not this one. *laugh* Which means absolutely nothing since I'm just starting. I don't know any of the authors' names listed, either. But then I use a different name than nomoretears so that's no help.

Any feedback would be much appreciated.

Did you pose these questions to your publisher? That's who you have a publishing relationship with.

On the face of it, it's a legitimate activity. Of course if your own publisher isn't legitimate . . .

Good point, pilot, and I will first thing tomorrow when she's back at work. I'm with the same publisher as a few authors' here so the one I'm with is on the up-and-up. Mainly I was curious to know if any of you guys had experiences with Storm Moon Press.

If you google the press, you'll come up with quite a few hits, including a year-old discussion on AbsoluteWrite. I didn't see any negative comment on their anthologies.

Ah perfect, I'll do that. Thank you for the info and for checking, pilot! I've never heard of AbsoluteWrite but I'll make note of that for future ref and check that out, also.
