On your control page you will see your story title with the word pending next to it. Within 3-5 days it will say approved.

Now whatever you do, do not click on pending. Once you open the story up you will put yourself back at the back of the que and your wait will be longer.

i dont see it on my control panel thing, does that mean it did not work?

You need to look at your submissions, using the "View" link from your member page. You should see anything you've submitted, with "pending" in the right-hand column. As lovecraft said, don't click on pending and re-submit, as that will put you at the back of the queue again. In 3-5 days, it will say with either "approved" or (I think) "not approved". If the latter, you can click on it to see why.

You should also see the submitting stories FAQ -- it will likely answer a lot of questions.

She hasn't logged in to her account on that side of the site. At the very top of the stores and pics page you will see a log in or sign up link...click on the log in link and login to the you submission page.
