Question

Maybe this is in the wrong place, but how long does it take to get a story posted. I posted mine last Friday night and nothing yet. Thats 4 days now. If a story doesnt meet the demands here, do they just trash it? Being it's a story of bondage and slaves, I thought this would be the right place for an answer. Forgive me, or whip me, if I'm wrong. Thanx

i'm not sure, but when Master posted His, i think it took like a week or more to get a response...sorry i'm not much help as i'm not positive...maybe someone more knowledgeable than me will come along soon *smiles* oh and now they don't just trash it if it doesn't meet the standards, they will send you notice about it, telling you why they didn't accept it......atleast that's what they did with Master's first one He tried to submit

Be patient. It takes time.

Some of my stories took a week or more to get posted, some only took days. It's a difficult waiting game, but don't worry about it too much.

In my personal experience Laurel's pretty good at getting back to you if for some reason your story didn't make the cut, but one way or another there *will* be a response... whether it's that your story is posted or rejected.

Four days isn't bad = ) and post a link when it's up!

How long will it take for my story to be posted?

This depends on how many stories we're currently receiving. We try to balance it so that submissions are posted as quickly as possible without overloading the reader and possibly burying your story. A story submitted to Literotica through the procedure outlined above generally will be posted to Lit within 3-7 days.

If we have problems with your story which prevent its publication (i.e. technical issues, etc.), we will let you know via an email to the address on your profile. If a story is submitted strictly via email without following the procedure above, then your story may take weeks to be posted.

If your story is postedl they won't say anytihing. It will just show up. But, as everyone has told you, if they reject it for some reason, , you will know. Watch it, in your story submission ares..

At least 7 days if not more. A poem will show up in about 2 days.

They rejected it. Figures. I can read all about rape in other areas, but not what I wrote about, which is dungeons and shit. That's okay, I found someone that posted it elsewhere, and they loved it. C'ya
