This is the first time I have ever posted here. I am new to the site and I have submitted my first story and I am awaiting approval.
I have never shared my stories before and I would like to ask a question to those of you that have been here.
Would any of you have any advice for a first timer here? I am a little nervous at having others read my stories.

Welcome to Lit Andella

There is absolutely no reason to be nervous about other people reading your story. This site is full of weirdo's anyway. (I mean that in the kindest way.)

Just be prepared for the Feedback and don't take it too much to heart if you get slammed, particularly as it's your first attempt.

On the whole, I have found that most of the people that read the stories here at Lit, have been very kind and believe it or not, their constructive critisizm has been most helpful.

The main thing is to just enjoy your stay. Good Luck

How long does it usually take to get them approved after submitting them? It has been a week and it says pending still.

It usually takes about 4 -10 days. Most times it averages out at about 4 though.
I think that perhaps they are very busy at the moment. If you don't hear nothing in a week, then drop them an e-mail to see what has happened.

When your story does get posted PM me with the link and then I can have a read.
