what is the first memory that pops up in your head when you hear the song Rock Steady?

Rock Steady

memory mind you, not an opinion of the song

Clicking on a Youtube link from a smut site.

I honestly can't say that I've ever heard it before.

I do not remember skating to that but I'm older than most of you.

Never heard the song before.

This is how communities are different even when you'd think everyone is connected in a modern age.

That song was all over urban radio back in the day. And we been knew who The Whispers were way before that jam.

We were all album rock progressive rock guys. Disco sucked unless you were roller skating or at a dance. Rush, Floyd, Genesis, Kiss, Zeppelin, Sabbath. Local college radio station went pirate and played album rock even though their licence stipulated middle of the road stuff. Eventually all the commercial stations realized how much market share they had lost and complained to the CRTC and forced CIXX 103.9 to conform to their licence. :(

We had Baby Duck wine at the track. IROC stands for Italian Romeo Out Cruisin'.
