Some Help

Dear Iron Man.

The 3.00/2 rating means that you have had 2 votes that average 3.00 stars. Its could be a 3 & 3 or a 5 & 1 etc. The part in my ratings is where readers add some feeback allong with thier rating. Chyoo people dont seem to be all that talkative. Ive had 100 votes and got 8 bits of feedback in there. If you've only had the two votes so far its unlikely that you would get any comments already. The forums are really the best source of good quality feedback as the people in here are the more commited writers (usally). The rating is really only of importance in the highest rated area as you see whos doing well this month and overall. I hope this helps.

Cheers

Dacia.

I agree. When somebody rates your thread "5", and somebody else rates your thread "1"... what the hell is that supposed to mean?! Are you good or not?

Problem is, there are no clear criteria for rating... Some people will focus more on your grammar and style, others on the actions described, others will simply drop your mark if you didn't developed the story the way they expected it... :)

Sure it's always fun to get a 4 or a 5, but don't go crazy over it. :)

And yep, people are so not talkative... I try to add a little comment every time I rate a thread, either to congratulate the writer on what I appreciated in his thread, or to point out why I gave a lower mark.

Just being a nice guy, I guess. :p
