There's something about hanging around for a while and getting to know people that's really effective.

While I am still fairly new, I registered a while back but then my computer decided to go on strike 
I still have been reading when I can from work (not always as much as I would like due to the fact that I would be fired if I got caught on this site )..
I watched this person come here and it seems she/he has decided to have an opinion on everyone/thing without even getting to know anyone.
Bad mistake..test the waters, get the lay of the land.
When I first registered here, I had some really nice PM's from a few people welcoming me and just being very very nice.
