Laurel,

I know you're a busy woman, but I've left a few mails and PMs now that have gone unanswered. So, I figured I'd bring it to the boards in hopes you'd see this faster.

I recently submitted a story to Lit. I received a letter basically telling me it was accepted, but that it was jumping on over to the Extreme section due to its content. It's been around maybe two weeks now and my story has left the "submitted stories" region, but it is not at AllExtremeStories.com yet. It looks like the last time that section was updated was on 11/01. I was wondering if my story may be showing up there anytime soon.

Good to know the answer. I thought one of my "masterpieces" had disappeared into cyber space or down the tubes.

Now I know its only on hold, still as it's a Historical set in 61ce I guess a few months will make no difference.

re-submitting?

If I'm not happy that a story of mine is headed for the extreme can I alter it and re-submit it?

I know this first hand since I asked Laurel a similar question once...

If You go into your story (like on MS Word or wherever you saved it) and edit out what could be considered "extreme" (extreme rape, bestiality, scat, necro...I'm sure there may be more?), and then in the "notes" section of the submission format tell Laurel it's a REsubmission for edit (and list what category you want your story in) it should be replaced.
