What's your most treasured possession? And it can be a characteristic too, like you're intuition or something like that.

Treasured? It would have to be my body. I keep on working on it, worrying about it, pampering it and I use it quite often.

Btw, your av rocks! :)

Ooooo, good answer.

Thankies for the compliment. I'm actually in the market for a new one, but I have yet to find something...expecially considering I have no Photoshop skills.

My favorite possession is my sense of wonder. I am always blown away by those moments of beauty in the world. I try to enjoy each and every one of them to the fullest.

Very nice. Sounds like we got another Lester Burnam in our midst. ;)

Can people be possesions? Probably not. But if they could I would have to say my family....

Or perhaps the love that surrounds me.

My comic book collection.. Though I like having clothes as well.

And yet another amazingly good answer. Sheesh...I can't even think of anything good. *sigh* Oh well.

Mine would be my collection of first edition books. I'm up over 1,000 now, and about a 5th of them are signed.

Mine is corny...
When I was a teen I had a best friend that moved around alot, she and I were good friends for several years and attended that god awful thing called "freshman year" in High School together.
She gave me a glass unicorn, very small and extremely delicate.
She and I lost touch in our senior year of High School and I have never found her.
I have moved a million times in the past 10 years, and I always hand carry that silly little unicorn. It is still as beautiful as the day she gave it to me.
It sits on top of my computer desk, and makes me smile each time I look at it.

Dragon-
Ooooo, another good one. Books rock! :D

angelina-
Awwwww. I'm like that too. Embrace the sappiness! ;)

Well, if my house was burning down, the only things I would risk serious bodily injury to salvage would be my high school letter jacket, my collegiate class ring (my mom paid $500 for it, so I damn well better), a necklace of my patron saint given to me by my grandmother, some of my writings, and my computer hard drive.

What? I got a lot of stuff on it! Don't give me that look . . .

A picture of my son.
I don't see him enough, and to steal from tb4p's idea, its the only thing I would risk bodily harm and a burning builing to save.

Grammar lesson

"My son" 'My' indicates possesive.

What does he posses? The living/The bodies of the dead.

What is his most valued posession? His son/pocketwatch.

I said the possession was the picture, you twit.
If I thought that another person could in any way be considered a possession, or if I meant to imply such, I would have clearly stated that my son was the most important thing, since his value to me is more than that of any mere picture, or anything else, for that matter.
Since possession denotes some manner of physical paraphernalia, or implies some form of feeling, emotion, or sense, as has been previously indicated by the thread-starter, I believe that a physical item such as a picture more than meets the specified criteria.
