I have looked for FAQs on submitting a series but I cannot seem to find anything.

I have seen series such as

Title of Story - Pt 1
Title of Story - Pt 2
Title of Story - Pt 3

or

Title of Story - Ch 1
Title of Story - Ch 2
Title of Story - Ch 3

But what i would like to do is -

Title of Story - Abby
Title of Story - Betty
Title of Story - Candy

Is that possible or will they just be treated separately ?

Plus how do you submit a series, do you have to include it in the notes to the reviewer ?

I think all of those will work just fine.

When the moderator approves the story, that person will take care of the details.

One thing I have see done is
Title of Story - Part 1 - Abby
Title of Story - Part 2 - Betty

This way your stories follow your sequence even if you skip a letter or something. But any of your other options work as well.

Your alpha sort will join those together as a series.

When you submit the second chapter, add a Note to the Editor as to your intention. Laurel will then do all the joining together of the chapters.

Actually, the series is an automated process. I do think that Laurel can fudge around with it a little, yet I have had two unrelated stories placed in a series together just because they both started with "A Night Out With" and I have had two that should have been put together with the exact same titles not made a series.

Just my observation.

I've done 'Title - Pt1...' when I submitted multiple chapters into a "part" and 'Title - Ch1...' when I submitted individual chapters. Both work to keep the contents as part of a series.

I have also submitted a few "Before They Were Stars - (Celeb Name Here)" and those have been listed as a series.

Good luck.

This should work (I think it best to use a colon after the base title, though, rather than the hyphen and spaces), but you need to ensure the subhead sets up in alpha order as you've noted, if you want to keep them in that order. What would work the best, though, as already noted, would be to include a note to Laurel on what you're trying to do in the Notes box.

I have such a series, which ended up just running in the right order without being designated as a combined series--but that was posted before some program work was done on listing series.

Agree. I think it's mostly an automated process (that can go wrong - one of my story cycles is listed twice, one correctly, the other buggered up), and I reckon Laurel can tweak it a bit (but so far, not fix the double-ups) - but only if the whole thing is lodged at the same time. I have a Chap.00, for example, so I could call a prologue a Prologue. If that had been submitted in isolation, without a Note to the Editor, the 00 might have been quizzed.
