Hi Roxanne. When you say men in the real world don't react the same way, what do you mean? Have you approached men and they've said "Sorry, I don't like fat girls?" If not, how do you know? While I'd be the first to suggest not to put too much stock in the opinions of the Am Pics board, sites like this are proof there are a great deal of men who appreciate a larger lady. The trouble is on the internet men outnumber women twenty to one, and in real life you lose those odds.

So if you're not finding anyone in real life who appreciates you, why not use those odds to your advantage and find someone online. Here's a great place to start, if not any singles site (plentyoffish is a free, international one) will expose you to a great number of interested men in your area. That being said there's no reason your can't find someone in real life. If they're not flocking to you then just make a tiny bit of an effort. It amazes me how reluctant women are to make any effort with courtship. It pains me to say this, but I think that men who are attracted to BBW's have society against them. Look everywhere in mags, tv, movies, etc and the women are getting thinner and thinner. Many don't even have curves any more, and yet they are portrayed as sexy. It's really scary! Thank you for the few women that are standing up for their extra curves (ie. I would agree. You have to keep in mind that you're on a sex forum, so you're going to get encouragement no matter what. That is neither good nor bad, only to say that in a sexual environment such as this, you're going to find an audience who appreciates your offerings. In the real world, people are far more discrete in their habits in general public, particularly if surrounded by others who know them.

Every large city has a night life, which means there is a club that caters to every taste. Where I'm at there are several clubs for BBW's, where they can go to be themselves and enjoy an evening out, and there are plenty of men who appreciate BBW's who frequent such places. If you're not into night life, then there are other singles groups, church functions, events in general that cater to BBW. My advice is to get involved in your community with things that you enjoy or are passionate about and you're bound to start meeting other people in general as well as singles. I have a dear friend whom was looking for companionship and met her through friends of friends.
