Okay, I was wondering something here... This isn't the first time that Lit changed my story category or my format style on me. (As hard as it may be for some to believe, I know what I'm doing! lol)

So, my newest story is about a couple who goes to a Halloween party dressed in costumes of the opposite sex. (He is a cheerleader and she is a football player.)

By no means does this couple "cross dress" on a regular basis. They're a straight, "boy/girl" couple. He was born with male parts, and she with female parts. So they're not transgendered.

So why would this story get moved to the "Transsexuals & Crossdressers" category?

In fact, a certain FETISH aspect that the couple shares (strap-on sex) was the focus of this story that happened to take place at a Halloween costume party. That is why I placed my story in "fetish".

Aside from wondering why the "powers that be" moved yet another story of mine out of the category I wanted, I am wondering if I should submit the RE-EDIT now, or wait until the Halloween contest is over.

In a day or two, most of your reads will come from the Halloween page anyhow, and the category won't matter there. Since the re-edit will probably take a few days to post, I'd say it won't matter much whether you jump on it now, or later.

As to why it got moved :: shrug :: who knows! *laugh* Perhaps make a note of why you think something is the dominant theme of the story whenever another possible category could interfere. From your description, it sounds like the cat switch was perhaps a stretch, but in the end it's up to the powers that be, I guess.

Yeah, I guess it doesn't matter until the contest is over. No "H" behind the title yet. lol

Haha, now I -know- you are fishing for reads/votes. Tsk tsk, shame on you for being so obvious. ;) And if any of you fall for this, know that neither of my stories are over 25 votes yet. *hint hint*

Anyway, nice story, Eve, playful and sassy with a bonus shot of mystique thrown in for good measure. I'd beware changing characters or points-of-view without noting that with a divider (a simple paragraph break isn't enough when jumping to another person in another location...it really throws the reader and takes precious seconds for them to readjust).

Happy writing.

lol Thanks. I wasn't fishing for votes though. I've never won any contest and never will.

When I had scene changes, I did place obvious breaks within the tale. And then Lit went overboard with the " * * * ", sticking them where I didn't want them!

Sorry about the category change. Is strap-on sex a fetish? Considered trans? Dunno, still a major sexy turn on in either category.

I'd just PM Laurel and ask why. She is pretty good replying.

I don't see my story having anything to do with transsexuals or cross dressers. I will submit a re-edit once the contest is over.

This isn't the first time I've seen this happen. Maybe the wardrobe change alone is enough for the standards of the cat? I don't know.

You should get it out of there. It really has no relation to the T&G cat. Once the contest is over, it will fare ill there.

Well, I didn't put it there. Whichever "Laurel of the day" that opened my submission seemed to think my straight couple Halloween costume party story was about transgenered people and/or daily cross dressers.

Needless to say, I will be re-editing. I just wanted some opinions of others here. :)

Oh, I got all that. No misunderstanding. I just wanted to confirm. A reader in the cat would just go,"Wha...?"

I can imagine. :)

Heck, if they didn't want my story in Fetish I'd even seen Anal before the Transsexual & Crossdressers one.
