So if we are descended from Noah, and God did the thing with the languages that made people scatter over the earth, and the sun cooked people different colors, how come my family has been in Georgia and South Carolina for 300 years and we are white as white can be, while the blacks in New York aren't getting whiter? This shit has to work faster or there is no way will have time to produce 1.3 billion Chinese in 6000 years.

Actually from the flood to now is about not quite 4400 years not the full 6004 years of creation.

As for skin color no God didn't do it witht he sun, He created Adam and Eve with the genetics of the human race within them. Genetics today I believe from what I watched on a late night TLC showed that you can take two white parents with no immediate black relatives 15-15-20 generations back and produce a black kid. The same is witht he animals kingdom, you can take two dogs and if you got enough money dig into thier genome and haul out a cocker spaniel from two bulldog parents. For fuller details this can be found on TLC somewheres sometime this month they are bound to repeat it, they repeat everything to death. The funny thing God already showed this witht he words original hebrew words he used through the human authors of Genesis even if they are mistranslated in the english:

Genesis 2:7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
Genesis 6:17 And, behold, I, even I, do bring a flood of waters upon the earth, to destroy all flesh, wherein is the breath of life, from under heaven; and every thing that is in the earth shall die.
Genesis 7:15 And they went in unto Noah into the ark, two and two of all flesh, wherein is the breath of life.
Genesis 7:22 All in whose nostrils was the breath of life, of all that was in the dry land, died.

'Breath of life' would better and more accurately be translated into the english as the 'breath of live', now why would that wording be used in the hebrew instead the hebrew phrase 'breath of life' maybe because God who created knew about our biology long before we knew about, what a novel concept that would be.

As for population growth after the flood for about average life span was over 200 years for the next 1000 years after the flood instead of the nice cushy 800+ before the flood. How many kids do you think could be produced in a 200 year life span? and you have 4 families doing that to start off with for the first 200 post flood.

I thought it was amazing, but i remember at the time my 'evolutionist' belief friends said well that was just because she slept around, or her parents were black or his parents were black, but thats to this latest genome research it is shown that every human possiblity geneticaly is in each of us.
