Although I know nothing about this, my common sense tell me however long it takes you to research or question someone about what or who they are and what you think your time is worth.

Back in the 50s authors were paid $0.10 a word for articles and novels alike.

From my own research on commission writing, the going rates seem to be anywhere from $0.10 to $1 per word, whatever you can get away with. I have also seen professional freelance editors ask for anything between $50 to $100/hour, coupled with word count caps. Seems pretty reasonable.

It’s not something I’ve ever been asked to write. But my normal rate is £80 (USD100) per hour. That said, I’m sure there is someone out there willing to do it for £8 per hour.
