How many of you read the Literotica Personals or go to chat rooms thinking (in the back of your mind perhaps) that you might like to have an affair? I know two women who went prowling on one of the popular chat services to try to meet someone, and I wonder if this is fairly common. Both of them were in their late 30s and had never been with a man besides their husband.

Is the cyber world just a place for some safe excitement, or do some of you hope it will lead to something more?

If you would like to answer, but don't want to put it out there for the whole world to read, you can send me an e-mail. But, this could start an interesting thread of discussion, if you're willing to put your answer out there.

I don't come here.. nor to chat rooms "looking" for someone or something. I have met some WONDERFUL people online.. I've never been "in love" with anyone on line.. i had someone that said he wanted to come meet me, that he thought he had found is one true love.. blah blah blah.. at first, i felt excited. Then i felt like i was cheating on my husband. I told the guy i was married and not looking for anyone.. he said i would change my mind when i met him. i left that chat room for awhile, thinking if i did, things would cool off. He emailed me all kinds of romantic things, called me a few times at work (i didn't give him my phone number at work, but he found out from one of my RL friends that chatted in the same room, what town i worked in. This was on accident that my friend told him, but that is another story). I met one of his RL friends and became great friends with her, i never told her anything about what he had said to me, because i knew she liked him alot. She came out here to visit me and she was going on about him and how much she loved him and thought he loved her also. I had to tell her what was going on. I showed her all of the emails he had sent me over the year that we had been chatting (yes i saved them all). come to find out.. he was sending these SAME emails to her..

ok, i'm way off from answering your question.. but anyway, as for me.. no i'm not looking for anything like love online.. if want something new.. i'll look for it in the grocery store.. (and NO not in the produce aisle).. YOU PERVERTS... ;) :D

When I was married....

I came on line, but wasn't looking for a relationship. I simply enjoyed cybering and flirting. To some degree, it was affirming to be found exciting and attractive by virtual strangers while my husb was too busy sleeping to............................
