Well, there are so many options. You should consider how much you want to spend, how sensitive to noise you have to be, whether you want clit or g-spot stimulation, and whether or not you will want you boyfriend to use it on you. If you can tell us more how you plan to use it, you can get better advice. But here are a few good choices. 1) A mini-lipstick vibrator. You can keep it in your purse and it is pretty disceet. Can be noisy, and puts alot of stimulation right on the clit (maybe too much for some.) 2) The Rabbit. Versatile and will get you off good, but can be very noisy and is BIG!! 3) Gigi. Just a couple of things to think about before you get your toy:

Do you want it for external use only, or something you can use internally as well?

What kinds of batteries can you source?

How will you clean and store your toy?

What material will your toy be made out of? 'Jelly' toys are harder to clean, but are slightly more forgiving - hard plastic is easier to clean, but can be a bit trickier to use.

If you're getting a waterproof toy, are you absolutely certain it's going to be waterproof? Some of the cheaper toys have a prominent 'waterproof' sign on the label, but when you read the fine print, they're recommended to be kept away from water...

Can you browse online first to get an idea of what's out there in your price range? Can you go to a toy shop out of area to see them in person? (I've heard that testing them on your nose can be helpful.)

It's ok if you don't want to answer these questions publicly - but do have a think about them when you're choosing your toy.

I'd suggest something small and quiet, the better for discreetness. The simple, and relatively uncomfortable, fact is that you cannot assume you will ever have total privacy.

I bought some of my first toys in college. It should be pointed out that I am a guy. I had to sneak around my roommate for three of those four years. Didn't always succeed, and he was understanding, but... still. Long story short, I learned to appreciate anything that facilitated easy concealment, surreptitious use and (you at least will have less of this problem) easy clean-up.
