Yeah, you're not wrong, and I wished they had at least chose a woman of color that was at least good at the job, but I guess that's too much to ask for. However VP is a difficult job to do. Most of it is sitting on the bench and being there should the worst happen, and not in the limelight at all. Though to be fair under those conditions it's hard to show your competence to outside observers like us.

Look, I really hope you take this as helpful information because I am of the belief we are more on the same side than anything.
MVP Harris has been a competent and capable vice president. Don't fall for the RW smears. You simply cannot tout the many Biden accomplishments without also crediting MVP Harris with her doing her duties overseeing the Senate and giving THE deciding vote on EVERY major Biden initiative.
I'm really not trying for snark here - I'm sorry you don't/did not know that, but I want you to have better tools at your disposal for arguing and now you do.

That's the out of limelight stuff, but really being the deciding vote in the senate is the low bar for her job, and anyone can do that, just rubber stamp whatever the administration wants to accomplish through legislation is not that impressive to me with her tie breaker vote. Again anybody can do that. I have not heard anything that has gotten over obstacles within the Democratic caucus because of her efforts. The things she has put in charge of I don't think she's done a great job with. The border crisis comes to mind. Also I've seen interviews with her and she's fucking terrible at them. Being good with handling the Press is not just a requirement for VP that's a requirement for being a politician. And if it's any way it's even slightly antagonistic or if there's any push back at all she sucks at the job. She falls back on nonsensical word diarhea that says nothing and I despise such waste of my time and brain power answers from politicians.

To be fair. She'll be leagues more preferrable than anyone the Republicans will come up with to be their VP nominee. I just wish she was actually competent at her job.
