When said out loud it is pronounced more like "ache" than "hache", so I type as if I were talking, and I say "an H" and there is nothing anyone can do to stop that.

Hmmm...My story posted today. According to my profile page, I've had 23 votes for a score of 4.7, but I have no H. Is there a certain amount of time it has to be up first?
For the record, I submitted it late last Thursday and it went up this morning. When I checked last night, it had been viewed four times. I was warned that you absolutely do not want to view your story once you submit it. That sends it to the back of the line for review since they don't know what you did to it.

Redo the story. resubmit it the exact same way as the first time but put edit next to the title and also in the comment section for good measure. The old version will go on pending and then it will come back as the new version with the same title. Votes, view, and comments remain unchanged.

Is that as in "an hotel"? I believe the strict criterion is whether the 'h' is aspirated. H doesn't have an aspirated h...

Or, if it has posted already, and you want to start over on votes and comments with your edit, you can replace EDITED with DELETED in the title of your work when you resubmit it with a blank space in the submission field. And then resubmit it at a later date.
Your story does have an H. Look on the page that links to it, or in your profile page for it.

Yes, there's a time delay in registering (and deleting) an H--on both the lists and your story profile page. There's also a time delay in readjustments of ratings on the lists--although the readjustments are immediate on your submissions page record.

Yes, but when you say the letter H, it starts with a vowel sound, so it would be an H.
