Running IE 7 on XP. The list of "favorites" that can be accessed by clicking the star on the upper left hand side of the screen has little logos on it that correlate to the sites I'm visiting. However, lately, these logos are all mixed up. Lit has the ebay logo beside it, the same when I click on it to go to the website. Ebay has the HP logo. Any idea what's going on? Is it bad? I can't tell any problems with the way the 'puter is running. I do have Norton 360 and spysweeper installed and up to date. Thanks in advance, y'all, for any help.

My first thought would be to clear your cache/temporary internet files/cookies. Sometimes they get confused and do funny things. If that doesn't work.. I dunno.

Thanks. Will do. Sometimes I just need to hit my head against a wall, 'cause it's apparent my brain isn't working.

You might also try deleting the favorites with the messed up logos, then going to the sites and re-bookmarking them. That's worked for me in the past when logos have disappeared, although I'm a long time Firefox user, so I don't know if it works the same with IE.

Well, it's good that you fixed one of your problems, but there's still one left: You are still using Internet Explorer.

Change to some more secure browser, such as Firefox or Opera.
Firefox can be found at www.getfirefox.com

It's much more secure, and you'll get way less spyware.

I agree, you need a more secure browser. Firefox is a lot more secure, and has a better interface. You may also try Housecall, it is an online virus scanner.
