Hello;

Recently, I came across a website where they sell collars among other things. I really liked the look of them. I especially like the fact that, after it is locked around a slave’s neck, she can’t take it off anymore without the use of a key-like thing that comes with it. I am seriously considering to buy one for my girl.
I was wondering, does anyone have experiences with this type of collar? Any negative ones? I did a search for this subject but got no results, if it is already addressed here I would very much appreciate a link. :)

Here is a link to the item I am talking about:

Thank you

There was a discussion on one of the collar threads about magnetic key collars. No-one had one from memory but a few of us would have liked to have. Main problem was the huge price tag which I think was in the 4 figure sum...out of our league for awhile. Still doesn't hurt to dream for now. If I find which one it was I will post the link for you. Welcome to the board..I hope you enjoy it here as much as we do. :)

Out of curiosity, how does that collar work exactly?

It looks to me like a nearly solid ring.. but I have to imagine it can be removed somehow.

There's a tiny screw in the back; you need a small allen screwdriver to attach/unattach it. So it isn't unremovable, but certainly closer than normal padlock-style collars.

I think they're quite aesthetic and rather reasonably priced, as well. I'd like to see some alternate techniques with the metal, i.e. burnishing. The stackable effect is cool.

Ahh, I see. Very sharp... I agree with you, Quint, it'd be nice if they came in some varied finishes, but I think they look very beautiful.

Re: collar

I have been looking at collars as well for my plaything. This one is quite nice..but I like leather my self.. have fun shopping..

experience with that kind of collar...

As a 'baby-girl' that used to wear that type of collar I must say a few things on it...

- they are highly uncomfortable, think about it there is no give in them at all, they are just there

- they do not look like part of an outfit or jewelry, I wanted to be able to wear my collar in public but with that kind of a collar I couldn't

- if there is some sort of emergency and I had to go to the hospital or some other place like that they would not be able to get it off easily to treat me (this was the year I was in TWO auto accidents)

- on the good side... it definitely made me remember precisely what I was and am...

hope this helps,

Thank you for all the input and the welcome, it is very much appreciated. :)

I agree with what was mentioned about that it would be nice to be able to see some variations. So far, this type of collar is the nicest of it’s kind that I have seen offered anywhere though…maybe I should take some more time to look further. On the other hand, the price is pretty reasonable so perhaps I will just take a chance and see.

Elizabetht, thank you for sharing your personal experiences with this particular collar. :rose: You mentioned something very important to me: safety. I would not have my slave wear such a collar 24/7 because you just never know what happens. It would be more of a mind-thing for us both to have her wear a collar on occasion, that only I can take off her. The control aspect of that, would be very enjoyable.

My permanent collar, that she wears 24/7 is a ring…which I highly recommend when collaring a slave permanently: safe, easy, beautiful and can be worn in public without any worries.

Thank you also, for mentioning that this collar is not like a jewel and therefore might not be able to be worn in public. I couldn’t see that very clearly in the picture and it was one of the things I was wondering about.
All in all I understood from you, that it would make a good collar for us to use in BDSM-related events with like minded people.

The same website has a bracelet. It seems like that would be a little safer and more "socially acceptable".

On the other hand, what do you do when going through a metal detector? Will airport security let you on a plane with a stainless steel bracelet?

Actually, in some cases you are allowed to fly.

Just take a look at this article about a woman who was stopped at the airport wearing a chastity belt...

re: collar

i have what we refer to as a "play collar". It is leather, with chrome rings attached....Mistress likes to utilize it when she decides i need "repositioning":)

Heh, that's pretty funny! I hope she had the foresight to get to the airport very early, though. That's the kind of thing they have to take you into a separate room to investigate, and she would have missed her flight if she didn't get there early enough. (Now, as to the infidelity issues between her and her husband...well, that's another story.)

I like the anklet myself. I can't wear bracelets in my profession (interpreter), and the collar is too big to go under my shirts. But the anklet is pretty. If it's a simple Allen wrench, though...I've got plenty of those lying around thanks to Ikea.

Right now though I wear diamond earrings Daddy bought for me. They aren't circles, of course, but I wear them every day and only take them out to clean them once in a while. It's more a reminder of who I belong to than anything else.
