Well, since I am bi and not gay, I would have to say that I'd have no problem being with a post operative transsexual.

I actually believe they use the dangly bits to form the new genitals. I heard once that they actually split the penis, turn it inside out and sort of shove it inside to make the vagaina.

I could be very very wrong though since it is almost 5am and I've only slept 3 hours.

And yes, although I believe they still don't do MTF ops unless the result would be a heterosexual female so I'd be out of the running anyway.

I know a Doctor that had this done, But she (previously he) never ever talks about it. It is assumed that you will never speak to her about it, but I bet she would be able to give all the details.

I once was at a family gathering thing (not my family) and this 96 year old grandmother asked her grandson (a surgeon) how they did 'these sex change operations'. He spared no details and she asked questions that made me blush. She was like a whole lot sharper and brighter than most a the rest of the world, that's for sure!

And if memory serves, which it may not, they do 'split' the penis open (yikes hate to even say the words!) and tuck it inside. And even worse, they do pretty much the opposite with a fem-to-male change. Form some kinda penis out of tissue from somewhere wrapped in the lining of the vagina. Oh god, I just lost my lunch.

Anyway, I just remember it is the only time I ever heard a great-grandmother talking about orgasms and clitoris's. She was some kinda treat! I am almost ready to believe she was still having orgasms!

The way I learned it was done was that tissue expanders are placed under the skin of the lower abdomen until there is enough there to surgically create a penis. The new faux-penis is then only as sensitive as the tissues of the abdominal surface (except for the scarring and cut nerves).

It is not a surgery that I actualy participated in so i don't have all the details. I am sure that there should be some good websites detailing the procedures though.
